We’re excited to announce the first wave in our line of Comic Book Guys/CGC In-House Private Signings — kicking off with John McCrea!
We continually strive to make the improbable happen and in the current climate where signing events will be paused for a while, this will still allow books to be signed and certified - without the obvious danger and difficulty.
John McCrea is a multi award winning and respected comic book artist which has seen him draw for many of the major Western publishers including the big two: Marvel and DC Comics. He has illustrated iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Hulk, Spider Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, Star Wars, Judge Dredd and the Simpsons amongst others.
“I have been working with the Comic Book Guys for years, and I’m very excited to be part of their first wave of CGC Signature Series In-House signings,” said McCrea. “I can’t wait to see what’s submitted, from some of my newer works to the classics that got me to where I am today.”
John added, “While it looks like the conventions are going to be largely postponed this year, this Comic Book Guys In-House Private Signing means you can still get signed comics! It won’t be the same as seeing all of your faces in person, but you can still fill out some of your collection.”
For this event, ALL customers — new or existing - can submit collectibles directly to Comic Book Guys HQ.
Comic Book Guys will coordinate with John McCrea to have the collectibles signed on Monday 6th July 2020.
If the Comic Book Guys/CGC Private Signing needs to be rescheduled due any postponements, cancellations, travel restrictions or other reasons, Comic Book Guys will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.
After John signs the collectibles, Comic Book Guys will work with CGC to ensure the books are graded and encapsulated with a fast track turnaround time.
Once graded and encapsulated, the collectibles will be available for instore collection at Comic Book Guys/shipped back to their owners.
The fee for the Comic Book Guys/CGC In-House Signing is £60 per item, which includes:
* John McCrea's signature
* Fast tracked turnaround time for CGC grading
* Encapsulation with CGC’s iconic authenticated yellow Signature Series label
Books need to be received by Comic Book Guys no later than Thursday, July 2nd, 2020, to be eligible for this event.
Submission Instructions
* Add the number of eligible collectibles you wish to have signed as part of this event to your shopping cart and complete the check out process.
* In the order comments, please list the the titles of the comics you are sending as part of this event.
* Carefully package the comic(s) in a box for shipment. Please foward all shipments to: Comic Book Guys, 130 Great Victoria Street, Belfast, BT2 7BG. We would recommend you send via tracked delivery with the appropriate insurance.
* Books will be received into the Comic Book Guys system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CBG until the event.
PLEASE NOTE:
All submissions must be received by Comic Book Guys no later than Thursday 2nd July 2020, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Thursday, July 2nd, 2020.
